May 11, 6:45pm: Thanks to all the nice people who have visited while I've been gone. Sorry I haven't been able to get back to everyone. I'm in Berkeley for the weekend, then back up to the country again for another week or so. It's been nice to have a couple night's sleep without having to get up two or three times to feed the wood heater!

Our little building project is coming along well and will hopefully be done by fall. We've discovered a vole burrow and baby blue jays in the greenhouse, and my 18 year old cat has taken to hunting mice for the first time in her life. She's bagged two or three and is way proud! I'll post photos when I get some time. Bye for now.
